Introduction of welding stud welding
The welding nail belongs to a fastener with high stiffness connection. The welding nail is the abbreviation of the cylindrical head welding pin (English Cheese head studs for arc stud welding) for arc stud welding. The specification of the welding nail is the nominal diameter of 10 ~ 25mm, and the total length before welding is 40~300 mm.
The welding nail manufacturer should make the manufacturer's identification mark on the top surface of the weld nail, and mark the example: the nominal diameter d=25mm, the length l1=300mm, the material is ML15, the weld nail without the surface treatment as the welding nail GB/T10433-2002 25 x 300. The GB stipulates that the surface of welding pins shall be free from rust, oxide scales, grease and burrs. The rod of the welding pin is not allowed to affect the cracks used, but the depth of the head crack (radial) shall not exceed 0.25 (dk-d) mm.
Welding stud welding: the welded stud (or columnar metal) is placed on the welded material; then, the welding stud is lifted and the current is carried, the arc is excited between the welded stud and the welded material. The arc will melt the end of the stud and the surface of the welded material and form the weld pool; then, the welding stud and the welding parent are relative. At a certain speed, the welded stud is controlled into the molten pool at a certain speed; finally, the welding current terminates, the arc is extinguished, the weld pool solidifies, the welding process is completed, and the full section fusion weld is formed.
